The Hacking Games is hiring a Social Media Specialist who will lead our TikTok channel, support Instagram, and schedule and post content on YouTube and LinkedIn alongside the Senior Marketing Manager. The role is hands-on and requires filming, appearing on camera, and posting content regularly. Occasional travel to London for content creation days is required.
What You Will Do
- TikTok (primary)
- Post regular short-form video content to our TikTok channel, including face content.
- Stay up to date with platform trends, sounds and formats in real time and adapt content accordingly.
- Apply your knowledge of the TikTok algorithm to improve reach and performance.
- Engage with the community: respond to comments, interact with relevant accounts, and participate in brand-aligned trends.
- Report on performance weekly: views, engagement, follower growth and insights on what is working.
- Other socials (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Contribute content ideas, including repurposing successful TikTok content for each channel.
- Appear in face content where the format calls for it, especially short-form on Instagram and YouTube.
- Schedule and publish content across all three channels on a regular cadence.
- Reply to comments and engage with audiences in a manner that fits each platform’s tone.
