Our range consists of high-protein, macro-counted food across more than 8 categories, using the best ingredients and are packed full of flavour. We are recruiting within the sales team for someone dynamic & talented. This is a key position that will be instrumental in driving the growth of our brand in retail. You’ll be accountable for the planning and delivery of a growth plan for new and existing customers. You will do this by utilising category and consumer insight to influence our customers. You will also have day to day communication with wider business functions (marketing and manufacturing) to ensure the team are all working towards one goal.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, gaining hands-on experience across various aspects of commercial.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Generate retailer specific plans
  • Have full understanding of business performance and key performance drivers
  • Development of customer specific promotional calendars
  • Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines
  • Develop and implement full customer contact strategies
  • Support current listings, drive new business & NPD
  • Organising sales meetings, developing pitch decks, drafting compelling commercial and consumer-focused proposals
  • Execute sampling activations and events activations
  • Forecast on expected volumes and sales pipeline and communicate with production and operations teams
  • Analyse and summarise category data to share with buyers
  • Prepare presentations for external sales meetings
  • Complete regular store visits and attend retailer conferences

To be considered for the role, you will have to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience of account management within grocery sector and in FMCG
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • You have experience of building & delivering a customer business plan, with a category and customer first mind-set
  • You have a structured selling process
  • You have strong communication skills are influential, building effective cross functional links both internally and externally
  • Experience with P&L Analysis – you are confident with data and can interpret it, to use as a commercial advantage
  • You can work effectively within a team from a remote location
  • An entrepreneurial go getter mind set
  • Minimum 3+ years sales experience within FMCG Food or Drink managing top 4 retailers
  • Ambitious, driven, and self-motivated with proven ability to work independently
  • Tenacious, resilient, and confident with excellent interpersonal, communication and sales/negotiating skills
  • A “get-things-done” attitude and ability to work to deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to manufacturers and retailers
  • Enjoy working as part of a small team
