As a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer at The Gym Group, you'll help bring our brand to life through thoughtful, engaging design across a wide range of channels. Supporting marketing activity across the business, you'll create creative solutions that connect with our audiences, balance creativity with commercial goals, and work seamlessly across both digital and traditional touchpoints.
Working closely with the Studio Manager and Senior Graphic Designer, alongside Commercial, Marketing and wider business teams, you'll collaborate on briefs and deliver high-quality, on-brand creative that supports campaign objectives and strengthens our brand. This is a varied, hands-on role for a designer who enjoys working across digital platforms - including website, CRM, paid media and social - while also applying strong print design skills to more traditional marketing touchpoints and integrated campaigns when needed.
You'll contribute ideas, bring concepts to life, and where relevant, support motion and animation to enhance our creative output. With collaboration, innovation and attention to detail at the heart of what you do, you'll help deliver best-in-class creative experiences across The Gym Group's marketing and brand touchpoints.
- Creating high-quality design assets to support marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including website, app, CRM, paid media, social and print.
- Collaborating with the Studio Manager, Senior Graphic Designer, Commercial and Marketing teams, and wider stakeholders to translate briefs into effective, on-brand creative.
- Designing digital assets for email, paid media, social and on-platform content, ensuring all creative is channel-appropriate and aligned to campaign objectives.
- Applying strong print design skills to support traditional marketing touchpoints such as in-gym assets, campaign collateral, signage, leaflets, OOH and presentations.
- Contributing to projects through strong conceptual thinking and creative idea development.
- Creating and supporting motion and animated assets where appropriate to enhance digital campaigns.
- Acting as a brand guardian, ensuring all creative is consistent, high-quality and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Responding positively to feedback and iterating designs efficiently while balancing deadlines and commercial requirements.
- Staying up to date with design trends, tools and best practice, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration to the team.
You're a confident, well-rounded designer with strong experience across both digital and traditional design. You care about craft and detail, but you're also commercially aware and understand how creative supports wider business goals.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with strong capability across both digital and print design.
- Solid experience creating assets for website, app, CRM, paid media and social channels.
- Strong print design skills, with the ability to adapt creative effectively across traditional touchpoints.
- Excellent conceptual design skills, with the ability to develop ideas that align with brand and campaign objectives.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with After Effects and Figma essential.
- Experience adapting creative across multiple formats and channels, with a good understanding of best practice.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing polished, high-quality work.
- An interest in design trends, emerging tools and technologies, including how AI can support and enhance the creative process.
