About the role... We’re looking for an SEO / GEO Content Executive to join our eCommerce team. In this role, you’ll help shape and deliver content that drives organic traffic, improves conversion, and supports ecommerce revenue growth. You’ll take ownership of planning, creating, and optimising content across our website and blog — making sure it performs not just in traditional search engines, but also across AI-powered and generative search platforms. Working closely with teams across Commercial and Marketing, including Brand, PR, CRM, and Social, you’ll help ensure our content is consistent, visible, and commercially effective. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys blending creativity with data, and who’s excited by how search, content, and AI are evolving.
Key responsibilities...
- Creating, optimising, and maintaining SEO-led content that drives organic traffic, conversion, and commercial performance
- Conducting keyword and topic research using tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs to inform content strategy
- Writing high-quality, engaging copy that is optimised for both SEO and AI-driven platforms
- Managing and publishing content through CMS platforms such as WordPress, Amplience, or Shopify
- Applying on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, internal linking, headings, and schema
- Analysing performance using GA4 and Google Search Console to continuously improve content impact
- Staying up to date with evolving search and AI trends, including generative search experiences
- Collaborating with teams across Commercial and Marketing to align content with wider business goals
About you...
You’re a confident content creator with a strong understanding of SEO and ecommerce. You enjoy using data to inform decisions, but you also know how to write content that connects with people and supports commercial outcomes. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities, and collaborating with different teams. You’re curious by nature, proactive in your approach, and always looking for ways to improve performance.
You’ll bring:
- Around 3 years’ experience in an SEO or content marketing role
- Proven experience creating and optimising content for SEO and AI-led search platforms
- Experience using content to support ecommerce performance and influence purchase decisions
- Strong knowledge of keyword research and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Amplience, Shopify, or similar
- A working understanding of technical SEO principles and how they impact content
- Experience using analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience optimising content for featured snippets or “People Also Ask” results
- Experience within the fitness, health, or leisure industry
- A portfolio or examples of published content you’ve written or contributed to
