Full Time Role: Senior Commercial Marketing Analyst Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week Clapham Junction

As Senior Commercial Marketing Analyst at The Gym Group, you will sit at the heart of our Analytics team and partner directly with Marketing, CRM, Paid Media and Commercial stakeholders to turn data into decisions that matter.

What you'll be doing...

  • Conduct deep dives into member and commercial data and present clear insights and recommendations to inform decisions across Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Partner with the CRM team to evaluate campaign performance and A/B test results
  • Partner with Web Analytics and Paid Media teams to understand and optimise channel mix, individual channel performance and paid media effectiveness.
  • Build dashboards and reports that help stakeholders make better decisions.
  • Support customer segmentation and targeting work by analysing behavioural and transactional data.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate insight clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

About you...

You are a commercially minded analyst who enjoys solving business problems with data.

You are curious, structured and confident working with ambiguity.

You can move from detailed analysis to clear recommendations, and you are comfortable influencing stakeholders across Marketing and Commercial teams.

Essential skills and experience

  • 4+ years' experience in marketing, commercial or customer analytics.
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills - you know how to manipulate data and get to insights independently.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, ideally Power BI.
  • Experience analysing marketing performance across CRM and/or paid channels.
  • good practical knowledge of A/B testing techniques and customer segmentation
  • Proven ability to turn data into meaningful business insight and commercial recommendations.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills; able to work directly with business stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, challenge assumptions and translate business questions into clear analytical requirements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • A great communicator, able to share complex ideas simply.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile team

Desirable skills and experience

  • Experience with Marketing Mix Modelling / econometrics and media effectiveness modelling.
  • Experience using Python, R or another analytical programming language.
  • Experience with GA4.
  • Right to work
