Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Sunday in winter months 10am-4pm (Weekend rota in operation, Saturdays and some Sundays required)

The Role
We are looking for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This role will suit someone with a strong interest in shooting sports and a desire to work in a customer-focused retail environment. You will be helping customers find the right equipment and offering guidance based on their needs and experience levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting customers with the purchase of shotguns, rifles, airguns, ammunition, and accessories
- Booking in new and second-hand guns, managing sales listings (including Guntrader)
- Advising on servicing and repair options
- Helping manage stock levels and ordering across product lines
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Answering phone and email enquiries in a professional, timely manner
- Assisting with daily shop upkeep, housekeeping duties
Ideal Candidate
- Enthusiastic about shooting sports, with sound knowledge of shotguns/firearms/airguns and accessories
- Retail or shooting sports experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident, well-organised, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using IT systems
- Knowledge of airguns/shotguns/rifles
- Able to reliably travel to our rural location
