This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Marketing Assistant in a fast-paced, forward-thinking group of companies within the guitar industry, comprising The Guitar Marketplace & Fat Bottom Guitars. The ideal candidate will complete various marketing-related tasks and will report directly to the Company Director. The candidate will be required to competently complete marketing tasks ranging from social media management, paid advertising, to email marketing, and will showcase a keen interest in excelling the marketing practices within the companies.
Job Tasks:
- Distribute content across all social media platforms
- Edit and repurpose long-form content into short-form videos for social media
- Assist in creating and producing marketing content
- Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns
- Design engaging graphics for marketing materials and social media
- Plan and coordinate content shoots for Presenters in line with marketing objectives
- Monitor and engage with comments across social media channels
- Manage and execute email marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Create marketing materials for the website and handle basic website updates
Requirements:
- Previous marketing experience
- Proficient with social media platforms and latest market trends
- Enjoys a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment
- Able to commute to our studio in Brierly Hill, West Midlands
- Able to work independently
- Literate and competent speller
- Able to communicate and feedback to senior management
- Competent with operating audio and visual equipment (cameras, microphones, mobile phones, and similar)
Salary & Hours:
- Full-time position or apprenticeship available, depending on experience level
- 40 hours per week (9am-6pm Monday & Thursday, 9am-4.30pm Tuesday & Wednesday, 9am-4pm Friday)
- Β£8-16/hour wage based on experience, and if position offered is full-time or an apprenticeship
- All computer, audio, and visual equipment will be provided
