We have an excellent opportunity for an Asset Management Surveyor to join our Stock Condition Surveying Team. This is a full time, 35 hours per week, permanent role covering our locations across the South Coast of England. The overall purpose of the role is to support the delivery of Guinness’ long term Asset Management strategy and development of future investment programmes, by undertaking a programme of property surveys and risk assessments.

Essential:
- Experience of undertaking assessments of buildings including stock condition and HHSRS.
- Good knowledge of UK housing regulations, legislation and best practice including HHSRS and decent homes standard.
- Ability to plan programmes of surveys in order to make best use of time and travel.
- Delivering high quality services to demanding customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
- Familiar with a range of applications and Microsoft office.
- Ability to work successfully in a remote team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of asbestos regulations.
- Demonstrates the Guinness behaviours.
Desirable:
- Experience of dealing with the impact of equality and diversity issues in the social housing sector.
- Experience of providing a maintenance service within housing.
- Experience of managing contractors for building works.
- Experience of undertaking assessments of buildings including, fire risk, energy performance certificates, housing quality indicators and energy efficiency.
- Experience of using hand held computers and PDAs.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Educated to Level 4 (HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent) or higher in Construction & Built Environment.
Desirable:
- Level 4 Energy Assessor qualification.
