Job Description
At Guinness Property, we believe in creating great homes and delivering great service, and our Repairs and Maintenance teams are at the heart of that mission. We’re now looking for a skilled and motivated Groundworker to join our team and help us maintain safe, high-quality homes that our residents are proud to live in.
About the Role
As a Groundworker, you’ll play a key role in delivering a customer-focused service across a variety of locations. In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll be responsible for high-quality flagging, fencing, drainage, and general grounds maintenance across Bristol, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, and surrounding areas.Â
To be successful, you’ll need to live in or near Bristol to reach customer locations promptly. A full UK driving licence is required, and a basic DBS check, paid for by The Guinness Partnership, will be necessary.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated individual who can:
- Complete repairs efficiently, ideally on the first visit.
- Remove debris and perform minor brickwork.
- Accurately record operational activities in line with company and legal standards.
- Maintain and certify equipment, report defects, and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately.
- Meet performance targets in a customer-focused environment.
- Work methodically and adhere to procedures and health & safety guidelines.
Essential Qualification
- NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) in Groundwork and General Construction or an equivalent recognised trade competency.
