About the role
We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our Fixed Wire Testing Team on a full-time, permanent basis, covering Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Ideally, you will live within Milton Keynes, Bedford, or Northampton to ensure prompt access to our customers.
What we’re looking for
We’re a customer-focused organisation, so how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll be a fully qualified and experienced Electrician with excellent customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Certificated Electrician qualifications and experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
- Proven knowledge in electrical fixed wire testing, installation, and maintenance up to v/v.
- Ability to complete certifications, follow procedures, and record data accurately.
- Ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and instructions.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment within performance targets.
- Physical ability to perform tasks and lift weights safely.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- City and Guilds Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3)
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS
- Full UK driving license
- 2+ years’ experience in completing EICRs
- City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent
*Your Welcome Bonus is payable in 2 parts: £ in your first month’s salary and £ when you pass probation. Eligibility applies to external applicants not currently employed by The Guinness Partnership.
Interviews will be held in person at our Milton Keynes office on Wednesday 14th or Thursday 15th February.
