About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Manager to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in our Oldham, Bower House office. We offer hybrid working, blending office days with working from home.
The overall purpose of the role is to lead on the development of Digital Products, maximising value through in-depth understanding of user community needs, alongside in-depth knowledge of product capabilities, guiding cross-functional teams to continuously design, build, and improve products that deliver meaningful outcomes in line with product visions, strategies and roadmaps.
We have invested heavily in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and continue to expand our digital capabilities by extending our case management functionality and implementing Field Service. As part of our digital channel shift strategy, we recently launched a new Resident Portal through Plentific and utilise 8x8 to support our contact management capabilities. We have already adopted AI-powered features within these platforms and are keen to further explore and expand the use of AI to enhance both resident experience and operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who can define the vision for digital products, ensuring that stakeholders, and design and development activities remain aligned to the ultimate goal for the product. You will work with vendors to shape Product Roadmaps, ensuring enhancements meet business needs and that new features and functionality from routine product releases are exploited. You will continuously review digital product capabilities against business capabilities, presenting opportunities to senior stakeholders that leverage digital products.
We are looking for someone who has experience of managing resident-facing digital products, including resident portals, apps and CRM platforms, with a proven track record of delivering service improvements. You will have experience managing product backlogs, engaging senior stakeholders, and working with third-party suppliers to deliver change. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.
You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:
- Proven experience managing resident facing digital products (e.g. resident portals and apps, CRM, contact management platforms).
- Proven track record of delivering measurable product improvements in user experience or efficiency.
- Proven experience of managing product backlogs at an epic and user story level, with experience of leading effective product engagement with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working with MS Dynamics 365, Contact Management Systems and Resident Portals.
- Experience managing third party suppliers and partners to define proposals and deliver product change.
- Able to lead, engage, and influence at all levels.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 tools.
- Excellent written, numerical, facilitation, and presentation skills.

- Deliver intuitive, accessible, user and resident centred digital capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve defined KPIs such as increased digital adoption, reduced service costs, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced data insights.
- Be accountable for all digital products from discovery and roadmap planning through to delivery and optimisation, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with operational teams, IT Services, and external partners to deliver scalable digital solutions, while fostering innovation.

- Experience of core housing and asset management business processes.
Qualifications

- Product Management qualification e.g., BCS Practitioner Certificate in Digital Product Management.
Desirable:
- Microsoft functional consultation certifications in Customer Service and/or Power Platform.
