About the Role
Would you like to become part of our Estates team as a Cleaning Operative and support us in delivering an excellent service to our residents? This is a valuable opportunity for anyone who is a customer-focused team player.
We are pleased to offer a new position for a Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated Estates team, serving the Basingstoke area on a part-time, permanent basis. The role involves working 17.5 hours per week, over two and a half days, between Monday and Friday.
In this role, you will provide high-quality cleaning services and minor grounds maintenance across a varied portfolio of sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Removing refuse
- Maintaining internal communal areas in accordance with agreed standards, specifications, and timelines
As the representative of Guinness on site, you will foster positive relationships with customers, contractors, and colleagues. You will make sure access is maintained, report repairs, fly tipping, graffiti, and raise any safeguarding concerns.
What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an individual who brings both practical experience in estate maintenance and a proactive, service-oriented approach. You will be expected to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in professional cleaning across domestic and industrial environments

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH and PPE
- A full UK driving licence
