Reablement Care Supervisor - FTC in Northampton

Responsibilities

Respond to referrals and advise on eligibility for services.

Support and assist a group of staff in undertaking social care assessments with individuals and putting in place ongoing support plans to meet individual needs.

Assist the registered manager in training and induction of staff.

Set clear goals for the team, prioritise and direct workload, recognise high performance, provide feedback and coaching, and act on staff concerns.

Deputise for the registered manager in their absence, monitoring quality and rectifying operational difficulties.

Lead a team to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care that promotes dignity, privacy, safety and independence.

Shifts

A mixture of late and early shifts, between the hours of 7 am and 10:30 pm with alternate weekend working and bank holidays.

• Re‑connect people with their communities to reduce social isolation.
• Reduce the amount of care needed from carers and family.
• Use a multi‑disciplinary approach to ensure plans are person‑centred.

About You

• Evidence of ongoing CPD demonstrating knowledge of latest research and good practice guidance.
• QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or relevant discipline (or willingness to work toward it).
• Knowledge and understanding of National Care Standards.
• Proven experience and knowledge of the customer group sufficient to lead, direct and train staff.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel and email.
• Ability to commit to a contract ending 1 Feb 2027.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required as you will travel county‑wide as and when required.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore requires an enhanced DBS certificate. It is a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check. • Salary: £31 234 – £33 017 per year
