Care Support Assistant - Longlands Care Home
About the Role
Longlands Care Home, situated in Daventry, offers a happy and safe living environment for residents to enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
Our team of friendly and committed staff provide the highest level of dementia and residential care in a home-from-home atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and mealtimes.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interaction.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.
- Working hours
24 or 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts). Shifts are 7:45 am to 8:15 pm with alternate weekends. Flexibility for weekends and bank holidays is required.

- Legal and Compliance
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an Enhanced DBS certificate.
It also requires a Children and Adults Barred List check.
