Join us in our mission to support blind and partially-sighted people by coordinating a local team of volunteers to raise funds through events and other activities. As Deputy Fundraising Group Coordinator, you will be the key contact in the East Kilbride area, delegating tasks, motivating volunteers, and ensuring our local fundraising goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Build lasting partnerships with fundraising groups and the local community, inspiring people to get involved.
- Bring your own ideas and personality to the group; collaborate with the Fundraising Group Coordinator to divide responsibilities effectively.
- Lead the fundraising group when the Group Coordinator is away.
- Identify local businesses and venues for events, and work with the team to turn these opportunities into reality.
- Champion Guide Dogsβ work, sharing our stories within the community.
- Recruit and inspire new volunteers to join Guide Dogsβ fundraising teams.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating and motivating a group of volunteers.
- Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and team-working skills.
- Experience managing events is highly desirable.
