We are now looking for a Strategy Manager to support and deliver strategic projects across the Guardian, helping shape future direction and collaborate with colleagues to achieve impact across the organisation.

About the Role

As part of the Strategy and Business Development team, and reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will support the Guardian's long-term strategic thinking and execution. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects with visibility across the business.

  • Contribute to the development of the Guardian's vision, organisation-wide and business unit strategies.
  • Support the delivery of strategic initiatives in collaboration with colleagues from across the Guardian.
  • Help monitor organisational performance through tools like dashboards and reports.
  • Research trends and external market shifts, offering insight to inform decisions.
  • Assist in business case development for new opportunities and help evaluate growth potential.
  • Conduct or advise on complex quantitative and qualitative analysis.

This role is well suited to someone early in their strategic career or transitioning into a strategic function from a related discipline.

About You

Benefits at the Guardian

You will have 30 days of annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) with the option to purchase an additional 5 days. Our pension scheme is generous; if you contribute 5% then we will contribute 8–12% (depending on your age). We believe in giving back, which is why employees are given 2 volunteering days annually and the option of payroll giving. Season ticket loans are also available.
