Description: Are you an organised, confident and proactive credit controller with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Our client, a growing family business, is seeking a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring smooth cash flow and working with an excellent team.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries, building and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Monitor and control customer debts, prioritising cash flow and minimising risk.

  • Evaluate new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit terms.

  • Manage reconciliation tasks, including customer portals and integrations (EDI).

  • Create and distribute account statements, overdue letters, and credit status reports.

  • Collaborate closely with sales and finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

  • Provide exceptional service while adhering to strict procedures.

  • Credit control experience.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.

  • A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and relationship management abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

  • Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure and manage high workloads.
