Based in East Kilbride, this temporary/ongoing contract role offers an excellent hourly rate and benefits. Grw Talent's client is expanding its high-volume electronic probe test card production and assembly business. The company is known for its open, fair, empowered, and highly engaged culture.

Due to a peak in workload, they are seeking a temporary Shipping Coordinator to join a busy, fast-paced materials and supply chain team. This role is central to daily operations, supporting the delivery of production materials and shipment of finished goods globally. It involves approximately 10-15 deliveries per day and the same in customer shipments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately recording inputs and outputs on ERP/CRM EPICOR system.
  • Liaising with couriers and managing shipping broker regarding shipment and delivery status.
  • Updating the ERP/CRM system with delivery status and when goods are received.
  • Verifying and meeting established deadlines through management, product fulfilment, shipping, and transportation cycle.
  • Submitting necessary customs declarations and verifying data accuracy in line with custom codes and import/export licence.
  • Monthly reporting to line manager on internal issues resulting in shipping errors and/or delays.
  • Using Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems to monitor goods in and out.
  • Ensuring effective communication through email, telephone, and face-to-face with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring shipping is cost-effective and complies with legislation.
  • Liaising with couriers to ensure deliveries are scheduled and on time.
  • Supporting with any border control/custom stoppages.
  • Working independently to fulfil customer requirements and provide assistance as needed.
  • Overseeing packing and shipping of final goods.
  • Managing consistent shipping to ensure a steady workflow.
  • Meeting established deadlines through shipping and transportation cycles.

The successful candidate should have experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Export Coordinator, Despatch Coordinator, or Logistics Coordinator/Analyst, preferably in busy manufacturing, warehouse/logistics, or courier businesses. Candidates must be willing to learn, support, work autonomously, and meet tight deadlines. Excellent Microsoft IT skills and exposure to enterprise-level CRM, ERP, and SAP platforms are ideal.
