Posted by The Growth Project on behalf of our client, a confidential brand hire. Brand name disclosed at first conversation.
Remote · 4–5 days per week · Reports to Head of Growth
We are a 7-figure UK womenswear brand in a pivotal scaling phase, and we are looking for a Marketing Director to take full ownership of our brand, retention, and e-commerce function. You will work alongside our Head of Growth — who leads performance and paid media — and be the strategic lead on everything the customer experiences outside of the ad. The first email. The site. The unboxing. The reason they come back.
What you will own:
- Brand & creative direction. How we show up across every touchpoint — tone, visual language, campaign concepts, seasonal storytelling. You understand that brand isn’t a logo on a tote; it’s every decision, consistently made.
- Retention (email, SMS, loyalty). Klaviyo flows, campaigns, segmentation, lifecycle. Turning first purchases into second, and second into third.
- E-commerce & site. CVR, product storytelling on-site. Shopify is home.
The first 6 months:
- Rebuilding our retention and CRM programme from the ground up.
- Elevating our brand and creative direction to match where the business is heading.
Everything else can wait. These cannot.
You are:
- 5–10 years in senior marketing roles, with a meaningful chunk in DTC fashion or contemporary womenswear. This isn’t a transferable-skills hire — the category context matters.
- Equal parts brand brain and commercial operator. Fluent in CVR, AOV, LTV and retention cohorts; equally able to brief a shoot.
- A confident decision-maker. We are a lean team, you will be trusted to lead, not managed to.
Tools you will live in:
- Shopify · Klaviyo · GA4 · Figma · Claude and other AI tools (we are genuinely native here, not "experimenting")
The setup:
- Fully remote, worldwide
- Contract / fractional, 4–5 days per week
- Reports to the Head of Growth
- Competitive day rate for the right operator
How to apply:
Apply via LinkedIn with your CV and answer the screening questions. No cover letter required — we would rather see the brands you have shaped.
