Telford, Shropshire Hybrid (minimum 2 days on-site) Up to £55,000 DOE
We are working with a Telford based, scaling consumer business in the home improvement sector who are looking for a social media manager to drive growth by building organic social channels from the ground up.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning organic social across every brand in the group. Strategy, content, community and reporting for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest.
- Creating content that stops the scroll. The business has just completed a major content testing project with a creative agency. You will take those learnings and run with them, producing short-form video, reels, carousels and imagery in-house.
- Getting out on the road. Real jobs, real customers, real transformations. You will spend time on-site with the operations teams capturing content, and you will be happy in front of the camera as a host or presenter when the format needs it.
- Editing and designing yourself. CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar, plus Canva for graphic assets. External production support is there when needed, but this role is hands-on.
- Talking numbers. You will own the social KPIs, report on performance and use the data to decide what gets made next.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience creating short-form video and static content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and/or Pinterest.
- Confident on camera and comfortable presenting content.
- Hands-on editing and design skills.
- Comfortable with community management and customer-facing interactions.
- A solid grip on social analytics and a track record of using insight to improve performance.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK.
- Experience level is open. If you are early in your career but a genuine content native with the talent to back it up, we want to hear from you just as much as from an established social media professional.
Why apply:
- First dedicated social hire, reporting straight to the CMO.
- A growing group of brands, so plenty of variety and room to grow with the business.
- Proper investment in content, not social as an afterthought.
- Hybrid working with flexibility around base location for the right person.
