The Growth Foundation Talent team are looking for a Recruiter to join us, specialising in marketing, operations, finance and supply chain roles across our scale-up client base. Alongside delivery, you'll also be expected to win new clients, so a comfort with business development is essential.
This role has come about as a direct result of the success and growth of the team. We work at pace, have a strong team ethic, and are looking for someone who can match that energy while building lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.
The role is hands-on and combines proactive candidate sourcing, relationship management and consultative client partnering to secure high-quality hires that support our clients' rapid growth. It's client-facing and requires resilience, commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder communication.
Key responsibilities include:- Partnering with founders, hiring managers and internal stakeholders to define hiring needs, role specifications and success profiles for scale-up environments.
- Managing full recruitment lifecycle: role scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
- Proactively sourcing and engaging talent across channels including LinkedIn, niche communities, referrals and direct approaches; building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Conducting structured candidate assessments: competency-based interviews, role-fit evaluation and reference checks to ensure high-quality shortlists.
- Advising clients on market insights, salary benchmarking, candidate availability and hiring strategy to optimise time-to-hire and hiring success.
- Managing candidate experience throughout the process: clear communication, timely feedback and support during offer and acceptance stages.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and pipelines in the applicant tracking system; producing regular status updates and recruitment forecasts for clients and internal teams.
- Achieving individual and team targets for placements, revenue and client satisfaction while adhering to compliance and diversity best practice.
- Keeping up to date with sector hiring trends, competitor activity and emerging talent pools to proactively advise clients and adapt sourcing strategies.
You are an energetic recruiter with proven experience delivering hires into high-growth companies or scale-up clients. You combine strong sourcing capability with commercial focus and excellent interpersonal skills, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Experience in agency recruitment or in-house RPO supporting scale-ups, with evidence of delivering end-to-end roles across commercial, product or engineering functions.
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, talent communities and creative outreach to build pipelines of passive candidates.
- Commercially minded: ability to manage a desk, forecast delivery, set realistic timelines and hit revenue/placement targets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and consultative communication skills; confident presenting to founders and senior hiring managers.
- Skilled assessor of talent with experience conducting competency-based interviews, reference checks and advising on hiring decisions.
- Organised and process-driven: proficient at managing multiple active roles, maintaining ATS records and producing recruitment reporting.
- Committed to inclusive recruitment: able to attract diverse talent and apply fair, consistent selection practices.
- Curious and resilient: comfortable working to tight deadlines, iterating approach based on feedback and continuously improving sourcing tactics.
- Work with a portfolio of fast-scaling start-ups and scale-ups across technology, product and commercial domains.
- Develop deep sector expertise and a strong network of senior talent while progressing your recruitment career in a growth-focused agency.
