Overview
We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic and commercially minded Interim CRM Manager to join a fast-paced marketing agency on a temporary basis, 20 - 30 hours per week. This role will lead CRM strategy and execution for one of their key clients. The successful candidate will combine strong technical CRM knowledge with a creative, data‑led approach to customer lifecycle marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- CRM Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement client CRM strategies focused on retention, reactivation and maximising customer lifetime value across email, SMS and owned channels.
- Campaign Execution: Own end‑to‑end campaign planning, build and deployment, including newsletters, lifecycle flows, promotional campaigns, and personalised journeys.
- Segmentation & Personalisation: Design and maintain robust audience segmentation and personalisation logic using behavioural, transactional and lifecycle data to improve engagement and conversion.
- Platform Management: Manage CRM platforms and integrations (ESP, CDP, marketing automation tools) and work closely with engineering and analytics to ensure reliable data flows and campaign deliverability.
- Testing & Optimisation: Lead A/B and multivariate testing to continuously optimise subject lines, creative, send times, frequency and content strategy. Use test results to scale winning approaches.
- Reporting & Insights: Establish clear reporting frameworks and KPIs (revenue per recipient, retention, churn, LTV, deliverability). Translate data into actionable insights and present findings to client stakeholders.
