Key responsibilities

  • Develop and produce platform-native short-form content for TikTok and Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories) that is rooted in trends, creative hooks and audience insight.
  • Own idea generation and scripting for trend-led concepts and initiative-driven series, turning high-level briefs into clear, repeatable concepts.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and wider marketing team to align content with launches, seasonal priorities and campaign briefs.
  • Support larger campaigns and events by creating content assets, live coverage and follow-up edit packages that amplify reach and product conversion.
  • Shoot and edit vertical video using phones and light kit; deliver polished edits under tight deadlines while maintaining platform best practice.
  • Iterate quickly based on performance data and qualitative community feedback to refine formats, hooks and posting cadence.
  • Maintain an organised content library and production trackers to ensure efficient reuse, rights management and cross-platform activation.
  • Work with creators and influencers as required to brief, support and amplify creator‑led content.
  • Use simple creative tests and learnings to inform creative guidance and scale high‑performing content systems.

About you

You are a proactive creator with a demonstrable track record of producing engaging short-form social content. You combine strong creative instincts with the discipline to turn trends into repeatable formats that support business goals.

You will be:

  • Experienced in creating content for TikTok and Instagram (1–3 years minimum experience preferred).
  • Confident shooting and editing short-form video on mobile and basic editing software (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot or Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Trend literate: able to surface and adapt platform trends quickly while preserving brand tone and commercial alignment.
  • Organised and deadline-driven, capable of managing multiple briefs and event priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborative: comfortable working with a manager, cross‑functional partners and external creators.
  • Data‑aware: able to read basic social metrics and use them to inform creative decisions (reach, view‑through, CTR, saves).
  • Committed to inclusive, accessible creative — able to produce captioned, clearly‑framed content that works for diverse audiences.

Desirable

  • Experience working in lifestyle, wellness or mission‑led consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with creator management and briefing at scale.
  • Basic motion graphics skills (animated text, simple transitions) to elevate content quality.
  • Understanding of how organic social supports commercial KPIs and campaign contribution.
