We are working with an established, fast‑growing apparel brand who is looking for a Brand Marketing Director to join on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract (maternity cover). This is a senior leadership opportunity for a creative brand leader who is ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, digital‑first environment. The role involves being a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and delivering a cohesive brand strategy across direct‑to‑consumer, retail, and wholesale channels.
- Leading the overall brand marketing strategy, driving customer acquisition and sustainable growth
- Owning organic social strategy across platforms, setting the tone of voice, content direction, and community engagement approach
- Overseeing influencer marketing and events, building authentic partnerships and impactful activations
- Managing campaign planning and execution, ensuring alignment and consistency across all channels
- Leading and developing a multidisciplinary creative team, including production, design, and art direction
- Driving initiatives that elevate brand perception and cultural relevance
- Ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity across all customer touchpoints
- Collaborating closely with product, commercial, and retail teams to embed brand thinking across the business
- Building and managing a clear, forward‑thinking marketing calendar
- Presenting brand performance and insights to senior leadership and board‑level stakeholders
- Defining and tracking key marketing KPIs, using data to inform decision‑making
- Identifying emerging trends and opportunities to keep the brand at the forefront of its category
About you: You are a confident and collaborative brand leader who combines creativity with commercial thinking. You thrive in fast‑paced environments and bring a strong understanding of how to build brands that truly connect with people. Ideally you have:
- Extensive experience in brand marketing, including several years in a senior leadership role
- Worked in a fast paced omnichannel founder led brand
- Proven background within beauty, fashion, athleisure, or a consumer lifestyle brand
- Strong experience leading and developing teams across brand, creative, and marketing functions
- Deep expertise in organic social media strategy, with a clear understanding of content, platforms, and audience behaviour
- Experience building and scaling influencer marketing programmes
- Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of how brand activity drives growth, acquisition, and retention
- Experience working across multiple channels, including direct‑to‑consumer, retail, and wholesale
- Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting at board level
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Data‑literate, with the ability to turn insights into action
- Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Experience contributing to rapid brand growth or transformation
- A strong creative eye and ability to guide brand storytelling and visual identity
