The Role

We are seeking a driven and energetic Commercial Sales Executive to join our client's market-leading business. This role is pivotal in supporting the commercial growth of the organisation by generating new opportunities and booking high-quality meetings for the Commercial Manager.

Acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients, you will focus on outbound sales activity, opening doors, and building a strong pipeline through effective cold calling and lead engagement. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment.

The Client

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage prospective commercial clients through cold calling and outbound outreach
  • Book qualified meetings for the Commercial Manager, ensuring strong alignment with sales objectives
  • Research target companies, sites, and decision-makers to support effective outreach
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of opportunities to support monthly and quarterly targets
  • Clearly articulate the company's value proposition to potential clients
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, leads, and outcomes within the CRM system
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager and wider sales team to ensure meeting quality and conversion
  • Represent the business professionally at all times and reinforce the company brand
  • Continuously refine outreach approaches to improve conversion rates

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales, SDR, or appointment-setting role
  • Proven cold calling experience with confidence speaking to decision-makers
  • Strong communication, listening, and objection-handling skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working fully remotely
  • Organised, resilient, and target-driven
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and desire to progress in sales
