The Opportunity
We’re supporting a respected training organisation that delivers professional courses to customers across the UK. At the heart of the business is the Events team. While the sales team sells the training, the Events team is responsible for turning those bookings into well‑run, successful training courses. Every course is treated as an “event”, and great coordination is key to delivering a smooth client experience. They are now looking for an Events Coordinator to join their friendly Operations team. You’ll be office‑based five days a week, working closely with colleagues, trainers and external partners to ensure everything is planned, booked and delivered correctly.
About the Role
This is an organised, structured and important coordination role, ideal for someone who enjoys managing detail, planning ahead and keeping things on track. You’ll be responsible for coordinating multiple training courses at once, working to clear processes while staying flexible when plans change. No two days are exactly the same, and the role offers real variety through the number of events and stakeholders you’ll work with. You won’t be attending events in person, instead, your focus is on making sure everything is set up properly behind the scenes so trainers and customers have a seamless experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating and scheduling training courses across the UK
- Booking dates, venues and exams for each course
- Working closely with the sales team to manage training handovers
- Liaising with internal trainers and external associate trainers
- Ensuring delegate information, course materials and resources are accurate
- Keeping systems and spreadsheets up to date
- Calmly resolving issues and adjusting plans when required
- Following established processes and contributing ideas to improve ways of working
This is a role where organisation, communication and attention to detail genuinely make a difference every day.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a coordination, administration or operations role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Clear, confident and professional communication skills
- Someone comfortable prioritising tasks and managing competing deadlines
- A calm, resilient approach when things get busy
- Confidence to speak up, ask questions and contribute ideas
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
You don’t need a traditional events background - this role is much more about coordination, planning and follow‑through than live event management.
