Overview
Our client is an award-winning training and solutions provider based in Worcestershire. They are seeking a talented and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is your chance to work with a collaborative and innovative company, building lasting partnerships and shaping long-term success with their clients.
Responsibilities
- Developing new account acquisition, whilst maintaining current client relationships
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a consultative, solutions focused approach
- Building strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
- Proactively identifying opportunities to add value and create long-term client partnerships
- Maintaining accurate and up to date CRM records to track pipeline activity
- Collaborating with marketing to maximise campaign and lead generation impact
- Preparing and presenting tailored proposals and agreements to clients
- Monitoring client engagement and ensuring regular review meetings take place
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a high-performance sales culture
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in business development, recruitment or media sales
- Track record of building long-term, consultative partnerships
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients on the phone and in person
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
- Proactive, resilient, and commercially astute, with a solutions first mindset
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Located within a commutable distance to Worcester and happy to work office based (5 days during probation, 3 days after)
What’s on offer
- Basic salary of up to £45,000 plus commission
