The Growth Company (GC) Education and Skills team have an exciting new opportunity for a Vocational Tutor to develop, promote, deliver and assess training in order to maximise learning outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out initial and ongoing assessments to ensure students are on the right programme and receiving appropriate support.
- Plan and design training programmes, including schemes of work and lesson plans, tailored to individual needs to ensure differentiated learning.
- Utilise new technologies such as SoL-VE, webinars, and Skype to meet market demands and enhance student learning experiences.
- Deliver engaging training to encourage attendance, retention, and achievement.
- Manage student safety during emergencies, following company procedures, and adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Prepare students for assignments and exams to maintain high success rates.
- Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and set development goals.
- Act as Programme Leader for specific awards, overseeing admissions, tutor resources, exam board liaising, marks uploading, and programme evaluation (HE tutors only).
About you:
- Proficient IT skills supporting learning delivery.
- Motivating and inspiring personality.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
- Effective workload planning and organization skills.
- Qualifications such as PGCE, PGDE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, with relevant subject specialisms if needed.
Skills Required:
- Industry experience in the relevant specialist area.
- Knowledge of T&L quality standards, especially Ofsted.
- Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
- Experience working with learners with special needs, LLDD, or challenging behaviour (if applicable).
- Up-to-date knowledge of the relevant subject area and professional qualifications.
- Teaching qualification is mandatory.
- Understanding of health and safety responsibilities, including emergency evacuation procedures.
