The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment, Justice and Health Central Support Functions (MI) team have an exciting new opportunity for a Improvement and Automation Lead to be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. The role focuses on streamlining workflows, automating repetitive manual tasks, and utilising data analysis and insightful reports, to drive productivity gains and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

We offer a hybrid working approach, providing flexibility through a mix of home and office‑based working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and improve business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for greater operational performance.
• Design and implement streamlined workflows that enhance productivity and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate.
• Extract, analyse and interpret data to identify trends, performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Create dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel and SQL to support decision‑making.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Monitor and measure the impact of process improvements, automation initiatives and efficiency gains.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure compliance with governance, quality and data standards.

About You:

• An analytical and logical thinker with a passion for technology, process improvement and customer experience.
• Experienced in business improvement, analytics, operational excellence or a similar environment.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels to understand challenges and deliver solutions.
• Able to communicate complex technical information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive and curious, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Committed to positive collaboration and living organisational values.

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL or similar data analysis and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
• Ability to transform data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience of process mapping, workflow design and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of data modelling, DAX or automation scripting tools (desirable).
• Strong focus on accuracy, efficiency and delivering measurable business outcomes.
