We're looking for a talented communicator with a passion for storytelling to join our Group Marketing and Communications Team. You'll help bring to life the impact of our work, sharing stories that showcase how we support people, businesses and communities across the UK. In this varied role, you'll create compelling content and deliver campaigns across media, social media, websites, video and digital channels. Working closely with senior leaders, colleagues, partners and stakeholders, you'll help strengthen our reputation and raise awareness of the positive impact we create.

Key responsibilities:- Play a key role in contributing to, and managing a range of external and internal communications channels to raise the profile of GC and support delivery of the Corporate Plan.
- Support the editorial planning process to deliver engaging content and campaigns aligned to corporate priorities.
- Create engaging audience and platform specific content to tell the story and elevate the impact of what we do, this includes short‑form video (filming and editing), press releases, thought leadership, blogs, award entries, and digital content for use in a variety of formats including impact reports, website content, briefing documents, events and social media.
- Build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders across the Group and with external stakeholders, such as combined and local authorities, commissioners and delivery partners as required.
- Deliver media and PR activity, including drafting and distributing press releases, responding to media enquiries, building relationships with media and other communications stakeholders, and media monitoring.
- Work with PR agencies and GC partners, as required, to support the promotion and awareness of the work of the Growth Company and impact of our delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate all communications activity on a regular and frequent basis.
- Support in writing and coordinating award submissions that effectively showcase organisational impact and achievements.
- An experienced communications, PR or media professional with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.
- A confident communicator who can build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proactive and self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of digital platforms, including website CRMs, Google Analytics and media monitoring platforms.
- Strong knowledge of communications, public relations and media relations principles.
- Experience of developing and delivering effective communications and delivering tangible results against KPIs.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
