The Growth Company's (GC) Justice Services team is looking for a CFO Evolution Activity Facilitator to provide rehabilitation and Employment Training and Education support within the Programme. CFO Evolution provides tailored support for offenders, especially those who are disadvantaged, struggle to engage with mainstream services, face barriers to community reintegration, and lack essential life and functional skills needed by employers. This voluntary program includes through-the-gate elements to ensure comprehensive support not fully covered by existing initiatives.
You’ll be dual trained as a Justice Case Worker and Activity Facilitator, offering advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support through regular 1:1 meetings and group sessions.
The role offers a starting salary of £27,500, increasing to £30,000 upon successful completion of probation and achievement of key sales milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Identify participants’ learning needs through discussion, assessment, and observation, and develop tailored action plans that support their personal and professional goals.
- Build positive, supportive, and trusting relationships with participants to encourage engagement, confidence, and sustained progress.
- Accurately record all activities, outcomes, and participant progress on the CRM system to ensure effective monitoring and reporting.
- Provide ongoing guidance to help participants implement their agreed actions, overcome barriers, and stay on track with their development.
- Facilitate group learning sessions that strengthen communication skills, social interaction, teamwork, and overall employability.
- Experience working with offenders or marginalised individuals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- High-level guidance skills for one-to-one and group sessions at least Grade 2 standard.
- Warm, empathetic, and able to build rapport with participants.
- Desired: Information, Advice and Guidance, and/or teaching qualifications.
- Experience supporting individuals' progression.
- Understanding of offender rehabilitation and desistance theory.
- Knowledge of National Probation Services or HM Prison environments and local/national training, education, and employment opportunities.
