The Growth Company (GC) is seeking an experienced
Learning and Organisational Development Manager to join our HR team.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), you will lead the delivery of learning, talent, leadership development and change initiatives that strengthen capability, engagement, and performance across the organisation.
Managing a Learning and Organisational Development team, you will provide leadership, coaching, and support to ensure the successful delivery of key people development programmes and initiatives.
You will foster a collaborative and high-performing culture, enabling your team to deliver high-quality services that support organisational priorities.
You will also support and oversee our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) networks , helping to embed inclusive practices, amplify employee voice, and drive positive cultural change across the organisation.
Working closely with our leaders and stakeholders, you will understand the Corporate Plan and, as part of the HR leadership team drive the People Delivery Plan.
You will provide expert advice and deliver programmes that support organisational effectiveness and help achieve our ambition of becoming a high-performing, values-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of organisational development, culture change and learning initiatives aligned to the Corporate Plan and People Delivery Plan.
- Drive a high-performance culture through talent management, succession planning, leadership development, continuous improvement and inclusive people practices.
- Design and implement learning and development strategies, frameworks and annual plans that support organisational and colleague growth.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, managers and stakeholders to deliver strategic people projects and organisational change programmes.
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS), talent and performance management systems, ensuring they are effectively maintained and optimised.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, project outcomes and organisational development activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead external accreditations, people standards and best practice initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Manage the Learning and Organisational Development budget, contracts and external partnerships to deliver value for money and high-quality outcomes.

Skills Required
- CIPD qualified (Chartered, Graduate Membership or equivalent professional experience).
- Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.
- Significant experience leading organisational development, learning and development, and change management projects.
- Experience of developing and delivering strategic learning programmes and organisational development interventions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes successfully.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, organisational development principles and people management best practice.
- Experience of presenting strategic recommendations and influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce reports, presentations and business cases to a high standard.
