The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.
This role will help the company with credit control, chasing debtors and getting the money in, dealing and building those stakeholder relationships. Being responsible for dealing with high value invoices.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero
- Process and upload purchase invoices using Dext, ensuring accurate data entry and correct coding
- Carry out credit control tasks, including debtor chasing and maintaining accurate debtor records
- Import customer payments and assist with reconciling them against sales invoices
- Import sales invoices and issue them to customers in a timely manner
- Support the preparation of supplier payment runs for review and approval
- Monitor and manage the finance inbox, responding to customer and supplier queries or escalating where appropriate
- Support VAT preparation by ensuring transactions are correctly coded
- Provide general administrative and ad hoc support to the finance team
- Assist with the preparation of reports, including margin and management reports

- Level 2 in Accounting AAT

- Confident, it’s a vibrant office and sales so needs to be adaptable, problem solving, technical and maths focussed, common sense
- Not phased sitting next to CEO or Directors in small office
- Company has themed days and celebrate success as a team so team player
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and develop
- Previous exposure to credit control and debt chasing, with confidence speaking to clients by phone
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (through studies or prior experience)
- Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel)
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication skills with a professional approach

- Experience using Xero and Dext
