We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all contractual aspects of projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Analyse risk on all contracts
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage procurement processes and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with contracts and projects.
  • Ensure timely resolution of contractual disputes and claims, (taking the lead in contractual disputes).
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
  • Lead company insurance portfolio

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of haulage contracts, procurement, and cost control.
  • Experience in contract dispute resolution
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
