Overview
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to our diverse patient population and contribute to the continuous improvement of our practice. This is a part-time role with a minimum commitment of 4–5 sessions. Training and support will be provided for the Digital Triage Doctor responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Digital Triage Doctor—full training and support will be provided for this part of the role
- Maintain accurate clinical records and manage referrals efficiently
- Participate in practice meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Support the training of medical students and other staff
- Deliver comprehensive medical care, including face-to-face consultations and telephone consultations
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Full GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Performers List
- Completion of specialty training (MRCGP preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Additional Information
Minimum of 4–5 sessions; we are open to candidates who are due to complete their training this year, along with more experienced candidates. The role emphasizes light administrative workload through centralized review of blood test results and incoming documents, allowing more time for patient care.
