Overview
We are recruiting a Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week on a 1-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of review and extension.
To provide high-quality primary care medical services to patients registered with the Practice, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
The postholder will also contribute to the management of long‑term conditions, health promotion, disease prevention, and screening services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care through patient consultations, clinical decision-making, and effective management of your own caseload.
- Contribute to practice audits, QOF/PCN activity, safe prescribing, and the development of policies and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and support governance, upholding patient safety, safeguarding, infection control, and incident reporting requirements.
- Participate in training, appraisal, and professional development, fostering strong communication and teamwork across the organization.

The Grove Surgery is an innovative, well‑established GP Practice with a list size of 8200 patients and is still growing. We are part of East MK PCN.
You will be working with 3 GP partners, 1 ANP, 3 nurses, 1 HCA, 1 clinical pharmacist, and a team of 16 admin staff.
