Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of grounds maintenance staff to deliver high‑quality work using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery.
- Plan and schedule daily, weekly and seasonal tasks such as grass cutting, strimming, shrub, bed and hedge maintenance, leaf clearance, planting, turfing, gritting and snow clearance.
- Ensure all machinery is maintained and stored properly.
- Monitor and complete jobs within the specified timescale and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the specific needs of each site/client and communicate these to the team.
- Proactively anticipate upcoming work requirements and suggest additional works or site recommendations.
- Use mobile applications to record work, log incidents and communicate with the management team.
- Apply health & safety principles, adhering to the company’s Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with clients, staff and contractors.
