We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie with passion, precision, and a strong attention to detail someone who understands that exceptional food starts with strong foundations and a commitment to excellence at every stage of preparation. This role is about consistency, craftsmanship, and seamless teamwork, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets the highest standard.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Chef de Partie in the day-to-day running of a section, ensuring it is fully prepped and ready for service.
- Preparing ingredients to specification, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation at all times.
- Assisting in cooking and plating dishes during service, working with precision and speed in a high-pressure environment.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked workstation, ensuring all mise en place is in place before service begins.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are consistently upheld.
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth, coordinated service.
- Monitoring stock levels within your section and supporting with ordering and minimising waste.
- Learning and developing your technical skills, taking feedback constructively to grow within the role.
- Assisting with deliveries and correct storage of produce, ensuring quality and freshness are maintained.
- Contributing to the overall flow and energy of the kitchen, helping to deliver a seamless dining experience for members.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Some experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, ideally as a Commis Chef or similar role.
- Passionate about food, with a strong desire to learn, develop, and progress within the kitchen.
- Hardworking and proactive, with the ability to anticipate what needs to be done.

- Organised and detail-focused, taking pride in preparation, cleanliness, and presentation.

- Physically prepared for a demanding, hands-on role, including long periods on your feet.

48 hours per week across 5 days (7 shifts a week).
