The Groucho Club is looking for an experienced Bartender / Mixologist to join our Bar team. The successful candidate will bring proactive energy, a positive can-do attitude, and a warm, engaging personality, alongside the technical skills that define an exceptional bartender.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitoring the quality of beverage service to ensure a consistently high standard
- Confidently preparing a wide range of classic cocktails, in line with the Club’s guidelines
- Creating new and innovative cocktails and drinks
- Preparing and maintaining all service stations and ensuring the bar is fully stocked for each service period
- Processing daily F&B requisitions through the purchasing system, based on par levels
- Delivering fast, efficient service to members and service staff
- Taking drink and food orders in a friendly and professional manner, in line with Club standards
- Ensuring bills are presented correctly to guests, including when service is declined
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience working in a bar (essential)
- Previous experience making cocktails and drinks (essential)
- Confident, outgoing, and personable with a polished presentation
- Strong understanding of exceptional customer service and Hosting
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging or uncommon situations
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong focus on delivering outstanding service to both members and colleagues
- Ability to interact confidently across diverse social settings
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to change
