Chef de Partie
We are looking for a talented and driven Chef de Partie who brings skill, leadership, and a passion for exceptional food.
This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in running their section, maintaining the highest standards, and supporting the development of junior chefs while delivering consistently outstanding dishes.
As Chef de Partie, you'll play a vital role in the kitchen operation, taking ownership of your designated section and ensuring it runs smoothly throughout preparation and service.
You'll work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, helping to create memorable dining experiences through quality, consistency, and teamwork.

- What You’ll Be Doing
- Running and supervising your designated kitchen section to the standards set by the Executive Chef and wider management team.
- Ensuring all preparation is completed to a high standard and that your section is fully ready before each service.
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Maintaining quality control over ingredients, stock, and prepared food within your section.
- Managing stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimising waste through effective stock rotation and control.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant workstation, including storage areas and refrigeration units.
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and smooth kitchen operations.
- Delegating tasks effectively to Demi Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs, and apprentices.
- Coaching and supporting junior team members in their development and day-to-day performance.
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are consistently followed.
- Contributing positively to team culture and collaborating across all kitchen sections to deliver seamless service.
- Leading by example through professionalism, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
- What Makes You a Great Fit
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
- Excellent culinary skills and a passion for preparing high-quality food.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a section independently.
- Proven ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior chefs.
- Positive, proactive, and self-motivated approach to work.
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and development.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support the wider kitchen operation when needed.
- 48 hours per week across 5 days (7 shifts a week)
