Private Events Waiter We’re searching for a waiter who brings more than service, someone who helps create a seamless experience from the very first setup to the final farewell. This role goes beyond the floor; it’s about being part of the full event journey, from transforming spaces to delivering exceptional, attentive service. You’ll be hands‑on, adaptable, and quietly efficient, equally comfortable moving furniture and resetting a room as you are serving guests with polish and warmth. The ideal candidate combines a strong work ethic with natural hospitality, understanding that every detail contributes to the atmosphere and success of our events.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the setup and breakdown of private events, including moving furniture, arranging layouts, and ensuring spaces are prepared precisely to brief.
  • Working closely with the events and floor team to create environments that feel considered, polished, and ready to impress.
  • Delivering attentive, professional table service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and well looked after.
  • Serving food and drinks with consistency, care, and attention to detail, maintaining the Club’s high standards at all times.
  • Setting up service stations and event spaces immaculately, ensuring everything is stocked, clean, and ready for smooth service.
  • Adapting quickly throughout events, whether assisting with last‑minute changes, resetting areas, or supporting colleagues where needed.
  • Taking food and drink orders confidently and accurately when required, providing knowledgeable and personable service.
  • Maintaining awareness of the event flow, anticipating needs before they arise to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables and spaces efficiently without disrupting the atmosphere.
  • Closing down events with care, ensuring all areas are returned to standard and ready for the next service.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Experience in hospitality or events service, you understand the pace, energy, and teamwork required to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Physically capable and hands‑on, comfortable with lifting, moving furniture, and being active throughout your shift.
  • Polished and personable, you take pride in your presentation and bring a natural warmth to every interaction.
  • A strong team player, you collaborate effortlessly and are always ready to step in and support where needed.
  • Adaptable and calm under pressure, whether navigating a busy event or handling last‑minute changes, you stay composed and solutions‑focused.
  • A natural host, you understand that great service is about attentiveness, anticipation, and making guests feel at ease.
  • Organised and detail‑oriented, ensuring every setup is correct and every service runs smoothly.
  • Clear communicator, confident in engaging with guests and coordinating with colleagues.
  • Energetic and proactive, you bring momentum and positivity to every shift.
  • Flexible and reliable, ready to adapt to the varied demands of private events with a can‑do attitude.
