The Grocott Centre is seeking an ambitious, proactive Hub & Facilities Co‑ordinator to lead the growth, sustainability and day-to-day running of Blurton Community Hub. This is a key role focused on developing sustainable income streams, growing social enterprise activity, and ensuring the long-term financial viability of the hub, alongside delivering a welcoming, inclusive community space.

About the Role

You will take the lead in ensuring the hub not only operates effectively, but thrives as a financially sustainable community asset. This includes:

  • Actively developing and growing income streams
  • Maximising use of the building and its facilities
  • Driving forward social enterprise opportunities
  • Building partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and grow income through room hire, events, partnerships, grants and community enterprise
  • Develop and deliver new income-generating initiatives
  • Maximise occupancy and usage of the building to increase revenue and community reach
  • Identify and help to secure funding, grants and commissioned opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with organisations, hirers and partners to support long-term sustainability
  • Oversee hub operations, ensuring a safe, compliant and welcoming environment
  • Lead and support staff, volunteers and placements
  • Develop a vibrant programme of community activity that supports both engagement and income

Experience in facilities or building management and a strong understanding of health & safety are essential.
