The Greyhound Inn is a welcoming pub with rooms, located in the charming Downland village of Letcombe Regis, near the market town of Wantage and the picturesque North Wessex Downs along the Ridgeway National Trail. Proudly recognized for its quality, the inn holds 2 AA Rosettes and is featured in the Good Food Guide (being in the Top 100 Pubs of Britain), Good Beer Guide, and Good Hotel Guide. The Greyhound Inn is dedicated to providing exceptional dining and hospitality experiences in an inviting and scenic setting. This is a full-time on-site Head Chef role located in the Greater Oxford Area. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations and a brigade of 5 chefs, including menu planning, sourcing high-quality local ingredients, and ensuring the preparation of top-quality dishes that meet the standards of a 2 AA Rosette establishment. The role requires managing and mentoring the kitchen team, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, controlling stock and costs, and striving to deliver a consistently exceptional dining experience for all guests.
