As Senior Sales, Marketing & Events Officer you will be proactive in generating both new and repeat business and handle a variety of event enquiries ranging from professional meetings to private functions, conferences and weddings.

Responsibilities:
- The Senior Sales, Marketing and Events Officer is a key member of the Gregynog team.
- Responsible for generating income for Gregynog, the Senior Sales, Marketing & Events Officer will make a valuable contribution to the charity by driving sales, developing our networks, and building relationships with the clients, companies and artists who use our meeting, event, office, theatre and rehearsal spaces.
- Every week we welcome a range of clients including commercial and subsidised theatre companies; film, TV and media companies; conference and event organisers, and community and not-for-profit groups.
- This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a busy working venue, assisting with enquiries and bookings, and the planning and management of events up to and on the day.
Key Duties:
- Act as first point of contact for Sales and Marketing, responding to all incoming calls and emails in a clear, accurate and professional manner.
- Provide client quotes and manage bookings for rooms ensuring clients are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Give venue tours to potential hirers, answering their queries and upselling the venue and its associated in-house services.
- Build relationships with new and existing clients in order to obtain repeat business and maximise sales opportunities.
- Create and maintain a database of enquirers, pulling reports and analysis as needed.
- Manage all accommodation, bedroom bookings and enquiries.
- Manage holiday rental bookings and enquiries.
Event Planning & Delivery:
- Liaise with Chief Operating Officer and Front of House Manager to establish operational requirements of each event, including furniture, technical services, equipment, catering and staffing.
- Ensure all booking information and requirements are updated on Rezlynx.
- Complete event briefing forms in advance of a hire or event.
- Ensure Risk Assessment Forms are completed where necessary.
- Assist in planning and running events. Where necessary provide on-the-ground event support.
Administration:
- Work with the Finance team to raise invoices and manage deposits and payments.
- Support the Operational and Financial Teams with reports, reconciliations and debtors.
- Develop and maintain mailing lists in line with GDPR.
- Deal with general enquiries from the public.
- Deal with existing Membership Database, until they expire. Also deal with new Annual Car Parking Pass subscriptions.
- Answer telephone calls.
- Provide general clerical assistance.

- Essential: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Knowledge of Event Booking System Software.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Rezlynx Booking System.

- Essential: Experience in a Sales & Marketing environment, Excellent Organisational Skills, Attention to detail, Flexible Can do attitude.
- Desirable: The ability to speak Welsh, Clean full driving licence.
