Our client is seeking a passionate Storage Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the technical delivery of high-value assessments and projects within the energy sector. If you have strong expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) , infrastructure electrification , and a solid understanding of electrical systems , this is an exciting opportunity for you to lead and collaborate on innovative projects at the forefront of the decarbonisation movement.
As a Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting BESS and electric mobility projects, ensuring safety, conducting risk assessments, and leading due diligence studies. Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams on major BESS and charging infrastructure projects, including due diligence, technical, and commercial assessments.
Provide risk management and fire safety support for BESS projects, including safety audits and market risk analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and funding bodies, to drive successful project delivery.
Demonstrable expertise in the electricity sector, including electrical systems, safety protocols, and BESS technology.
Project Management : Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, including multi-stakeholder environments and complex technical workstreams.
Communication Skills : Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff in technical and commercial aspects of projects.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify market opportunities and foster client relationships.
