We are seeking a senior engineering leader to head up Client Engineering for a global SaaS platform powering the clean energy transition. This is a high-impact, client-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy, delivery execution, and executive stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

You will lead engineering teams across London, Bristol, and Paris to adapt and integrate our global platform for enterprise clients in new European markets. Expect significant client networking and on-site engagement - from technical discovery and integration design to executive briefings and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership: Act as the engineering face of the business with European clients, owning technical discovery, solution design, and integration planning.
  • Field Engagement: Spend time on-site with customers, unblock delivery, and manage escalations with clarity and confidence.
  • Technology Strategy: Define and own the Client Engineering roadmap; influence platform architecture for scalability and localisation.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop Heads of Engineering and Principal Engineers; create autonomous, field-ready teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive programme delivery, manage budgets, and establish integration playbooks for speed and predictability.

Ideal Profile

  • Extensive client-facing leadership in enterprise SaaS platform integrations/migrations.
  • Proven ability to operate in the field: leading workshops, troubleshooting integrations, and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Deep expertise in cloud technologies, API design, and secure data migration.
  • Strong leadership experience guiding teams through technical and organisational change.
  • Comfortable with high travel and ambiguity, converting strategy into actionable roadmaps.
