We are supporting a specialist financial advisory platform with the appointment of a Vice President within its Energy Transition Investment Banking team, with a particular focus on debt advisory and project finance.

The successful individual will work across a broad range of renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure transactions, advising developers, infrastructure investors, utilities and financial sponsors on the structuring and execution of complex debt financings.
The role offers significant exposure to senior clients and lenders, with responsibility across transaction execution, financial structuring and junior team leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the execution of project finance and debt advisory mandates across renewable energy and energy-transition infrastructure.
Advise clients on: Non-recourse and limited-recourse project financingAcquisition financingRefinancingConstruction debtHoldCo and portfolio-level financingBridge facilitiesStructured debt solutionsManage financing processes from initial structuring through to financial close.
Develop and review detailed financial models, debt sizing, sensitivities and financing scenarios.
Coordinate lender processes, including preparation of financing materials, lender outreach, term-sheet comparison and negotiation.
Support clients through due diligence, credit approval, documentation and closing.
Work across technologies including: SolarOnshore and offshore windBattery energy storageGrid and transmission infrastructureHydrogen and renewable fuelsWider energy-transition infrastructureMaintain relationships with commercial banks, infrastructure debt funds, institutional lenders and other financing providers.
Manage Analysts and Associates throughout live transactions.
Support senior bankers with origination, pitch preparation and development of new client relationships.
Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Energy Transition franchise.
Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate is likely to bring: Strong experience in project finance, debt advisory, infrastructure finance or energy investment banking. A demonstrable track record of executing debt transactions within renewable energy or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of project finance structures, debt sizing, covenants, credit metrics and lender requirements.
Advanced financial modelling and valuation capability.
Experience managing lender processes and negotiating financing terms.
Strong client-management skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
