We are a UK-based Independent Power Producer (IPP) developing commercial & industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV, BESS and integrated energy solutions.

We are seeking a Project Development Manager to lead projects from initial site identification and customer engagement through to construction readiness and delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of C&I solar PV, BESS and hybrid energy projects.
Identify and assess suitable commercial and industrial sites.
Manage relationships with corporate customers, landlords, developers, property owners and other stakeholders.
Lead site due diligence, feasibility studies, planning, grid connection and technical assessments.
Develop project layouts, capacity assessments and initial project economics.
Support customer proposals, commercial structuring, PPAs and energy-as-a-service solutions.
Manage external consultants and contractors through the development process.
Coordinate legal, planning, technical and commercial workstreams.
Identify and manage project risks, budgets and development programmes.
Support investment approvals, financing, procurement and transition into construction.
RequirementsExperience developing UK C&I renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in commercial/industrial solar PV and/or BESS.Understanding of UK planning, grid connection and property processes.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess project viability.
Experience working directly with corporate customers or commercial property stakeholders is highly desirable.
Strong project management, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects from origination through to delivery.
