This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong UK energy market knowledge and experience negotiating PPAs, route-to-market agreements, and energy trading arrangements across renewable and flexible generation assets.You’ll play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, managing offtake relationships, and helping optimise revenues across a diverse portfolio including solar, BESS, and other energy infrastructure projects.The RoleKey responsibilities will include:Leading the negotiation and execution of:Corporate PPAsUtility PPAsRoute-to-market agreementsOptimisation and balancing contractsBuilding and managing relationships with:UtilitiesEnergy suppliersTradersCorporate offtakersMarket intermediariesSupporting commercial strategy across renewable generation and energy storage assetsAnalysing market opportunities, pricing structures, risk positions, and revenue strategiesWorking closely with development, finance, legal, and technical teams to deliver commercially robust agreementsMonitoring UK energy market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging revenue opportunitiesAbout YouWe’re keen to speak with candidates who have:Experience within renewable energy, utilities, energy trading, or infrastructureStrong understanding of UK power markets and PPA structuresCommercial xsabvtc negotiation experience within energy marketsExcellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsStrong analytical and financial modelling capabilityA proactive, commercially minded approachDesirable ExperienceBattery storage optimisation agreementsAncillary services/flexibility marketsProject finance exposureExisting network within UK energy trading or renewable offtake marketsDiscipline(s): Trading and Procurement, Renewable Energy, Grid and StorageJob type: Permanent
