We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with 15–20 years of experience to play a critical leadership role in the delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from initial design and technical specification through installation, commissioning, and operational optimisation. This role requires a highly experienced engineering professional capable of providing technical leadership, managing key stakeholder relationships, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead delivery of multiple complex energy projects, owning scope, programme, budget, risk, and quality from end to end.
- Act as technical authority, reviewing and approving electrical designs, system architectures, and engineering specifications.
- Lead integration of BESS, EV charging, renewables, and energy management systems, optimising performance and scalability.
- Act as key technical interface for clients, consultants, contractors, and partners, leading design reviews and workshops.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting across multiple sites, ensuring successful system handover.
- Mentor and support engineers while providing technical leadership to contractors and delivery teams.
15–20+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, energy infrastructure, renewables, or related sectors.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects from design through commissioning.
- Deep knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, controls, and energy management technologies.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
